You do not have to be a certain level for shadow heroes. You always play against the opposite faction afaik.
I made pumpkins! Firesnake and Plasma Behemoth.
    I daydream about cards too.

Oh interesting, I did not know this. Thank you Nizaris. I have always played shadow so that explains why I do not know shadow AI.

I've tried these and a few others and I still find my deck to be faster and more consistent

    Zaladar x1

    Hellsteed x4
    Spark x4
    Fire Snake x4
    Carniboar x3
    Thadeus Death Mage x3

    Shard of Power x4
    Bloodlust x4
    Bloodstone Altar x4

There is obviously no need for a draw engine in a game that will last 4-6t (depending on the enemy) it actually slows you down by a turn ... With only 30 cards you will get all the cards you need anyway. I have managed to win some matches without using Zaladar's ability, I was on turn 4 but I didn't need it ... Ideally you want SoP down before Bloodlust, but you always need to be carefull when using sparks and SoP.

Just to illustrate I used this deck against Zhanna (which is one of the harder ones for this deck ... so it went to T6 because she can heal and use Book of Curses) here is how it went down:

    Zaladar Vs Zhanna Mist

    Draw
    1 Firesnake
    2 Hellstead
    1 Carniboar
    2 Bloodstone Altar

    Zaladar T1
    Sac Bloodstone Altar
    Plays Firesnake

    Zhanna
    Sacs

    Zaladar T2
    Draws Spark
Sacs Spark (I only keep them around if I start with 2 or more in hand)
    Plays Hellstead x2
    Does 3 dmg

    Zhanna
    Sacs
    Plays Puwen

    Zaladar T3
    Draws Spark
    Sacs Spark
    Plays Carniboar
    Does 3 dmg

    Zhanna
    Sacs
    Heals 3 dmg
    Plays BoC
    Does 2 dmg

    Zaladar T4
    Draws Bloodlust
    Plays Bloodlust
Attacts Zhanna w/ firesnake and hellsteads 6dmg
    Kills Puwen

    Zhanna
    Sac
    Plays Puwen

    Zaladar T5
    Draws SoP
    Plays SoP
    Hits Zhanna for 10dmg
    Zaps Zhanna (3dmg) and Puwen

    Zhanna
    Sac
    Plays Wrath of Summer
Uses its ability to kill carniboar
    hits Zaladar for 1

    Zaladar T6
    Draws SoP
    Sacs it ... whatever
    Plays Bloodstone Altar
Only needs to attack with firesnake

    End
    Zaladar 25 health
    Zhanna dead

Certainly not the fastest match I've had against her, if I got SoP before Bloodlust in this game it would have been over T5, if I got SoP out on T3 it would have been yet quicker. It's amazing how often I do get SoP out on T3 then either Bloodstone Altar or Bloodlust on T4 ... this last game just shows a rather mediocre match ... and yet I still owned her. I wouldn't normally recommend playing against her though because of Tidal Wave which can be devastating, though Jericho seems more likely to play it (can't play him now that I lvled).

Seems like i missed your posts, thanks for sharing, i'll add it later.

I use Bad Santa, cause with too much ability in a deck you can draw them all in first hand, and BS helps when it happens, . Also priest have Ice Strom which is as dangerous as Tidal Wave for your weenies, .

This is an old thread that hasn't been bumped in some time or updated since DP, so forgive me for bumping an oldie. But i think with the DP update it's even easier with an addition of a few key cards. Here's my grinding deck:

    Ele/Zal <- more than 50% of the time i don't need a hero.

    Hellsteed x4
    Spark x4
    Fire Snake x4
    Rotling x4
    Flare x4

    Shard of Power x4
    Bloodlust x4
Any irrelevant card x1 (that can be discarded if drawn)

With Rotling and flare's ability + sparks, you can have essentially all 1 CC allies.

    It's 50/50 if ive won on T4 or T5

    Perfect draw:

    T1 Spark
    T2 Spark/Flare + Spark/Flare
    T3 (no discard) Spark/Flare + Spark/Flare
    T4 Shard/Blood = GG

This isn't the only draw that can win on t4. The are a variety of ways that don't even need spark or flare.

Depending on the AI, there is some damage prevention that can extend to T5, but if none, then T4 is a winner.

Just came back to Shadow Era to see what was new. Lot's of new cards to get. Rocking this against Elad, there is a great chance of closing her out on T4 with the right draw. Back on that grind. Later.

I'm old, experienced, and usually right. So eyes open, mouth shut, and you might learn a thing or two.
