They already did; it's called GenCon. Both Kyle and AnAdolt went incommunicado and the support inbox went over-quota. So yeah, they were stealthed

Indeed. As it stands, there is now zero chance of it being out in the originally planned Summer 2012 timescale. Sure, we could go live with what we have now, but it would be buggy and unbalanced. The aim is quality and that takes time, and attention. In terms of the latter, with all the physical cards stuff out of the way and no more games conventions to go to, there will definitely be attention on implementing the first expansion within Wulven.

In the mean time, tournament queues, booster draft and Meltdown format are going to be hitting the test server very soon, to squeeze new life out of the existing set. (Booster draft and meltdown using the physical cards has been really good fun, and there is a lot of strategy involved in both, which should present enjoyable challenges to players.)

Never played it but it sounds completely awesome!

It's draft only right? No constructed? Because Constructed Meltdown would be a thing of beauty and horror

It's technically "Sealed". You get 4 packs for yourself and make the best deck you can, ignoring class and faction restrictions. It's wild and a lot of fun, and I see no reason to open 4 booster packs ever again without using them for Meltdown!

Did a little exercise on the ASF forums a while ago when Meltdown was announced, your best Constructed Meltdown deck. There were some wild ideas (And all completely OP)
