I really like the way this site allows access to useful information and blogs attached to the users who contribute. However, some clown is just adding a bunch of nonsense that sounds like badly translated english ads. Something that can be done about this?
It's called botting. You could do a captcha for blog submissions to prevent botting.
I don't know what that means Montag.
Basically, if you see spam, just report it. Forum posts and blog posts have a report function for reporting spam, advertising, etc. They might want to consider implementing a captcha when they get tired of all the deleting.
As for what captcha is.
Oh I know those, I just didn't realize that was the definition.
You can just click on the "Report Post" button and it will get deleted pretty quickly.
