the 'fun' to me is being the best and out playing your opponent. if fame comes with being good then so be it.

Quick match is all about fun (sometimes testing). Fame isn't about the top 20, the most famous people in the game have made their name through other means (Tournament wins, masterful deckbuilding, masterful trolling ).

That being said, I think tournament play is all about fun too. What's the point in playing at all if it's not fun?
