So I've noticed most pop-ups seem to be around the same time, which is all well and good for most players, but what about players living in other areas? Personally, I live in Australia, so I can only play in pop-ups if I'm in the habit of staying up all night. (Which has happened in the past, yes, but I'd rather not do it anymore.) With that in mind, there may very well be some other players like me, or just people who are happy to play a pop-up in the afternoon instead of the evening

Rules:

1) The tournament is hero locked and deck locked, with all rounds being Bo3.
2) Join #tournament by 10:50 GMT+0, or you are at risk of having your place given away. The pop-up begins at 11:10 GMT+0 if possible.
3) Game 1 and Game 3 are random. The person who went first game 1 will go second game 2.
4) In the case of a disconnection, re-game. If one person DC's right before losing or foul play is suspected, inform me. If I decide there was no realistic chance for the person who DC'd to come back, the game will be awarded to the person who didn't DC. If one player DC's multiple times and foul play is suspected, I'll make a judgement call.
5) Don't be enough of a dick for me to have to make a judgement call via Rule 4.
6) Match results should be reported in chat.
7) Expect the tournament to take about an hour per round. So if we get 16 players, people should be expecting to be available for four hours. It shouldn't take that long, but it might.
8) I reserve the right to change these rules or add new ones at any time, since I've probably forgot something.

To sign up, simply reply with "I'm in" or an equivalent, and your IGN.

Prizes:

Prizes will depend on the number of people who sign up. If 8 people sign up, prizes will be:

1st: 500 SC's
2nd: 250 SC's

If 16 people sign up, prizes will be:

1st: 1,000 SC's
2nd: 500 SC's

I've also put in a special request that if we get 12-15 players, the prize pool be 700 SC's for 1st, and 300 SC's for 2nd, and I'll give out random byes Round 1. You should assume that this will not be granted when signing up. If it's not granted, I'll have to cut entry at 8 players unless I get the full 16. Gotta hedge my bets here, as I'm not sure how much interest this timezone will generate.

TheNewbie: I was referring to 12:00 pm. That is to say, in about 4 hours. I can't change the title, so I've moved the start time back to 11:00 am, namely, in 3 hours.

Unfortunately, looks like there's not enough interest. I probably should have left more notice. I may also try different time zones later on, as long as they're different from the regular ones: The regular ones are basically smack dab in the times I usually sleep

My bad. Now that I know the drill, I'll be sure to make the next attempt's thread earlier.
