    Post Digital Drafts - Solution.

    So we have friends across the state that all play SE and we wanted a way to try this Draft thing out.
    Granted we are not hardcore crazy players, but really enjoy playing and drafting is a great way to even things out and play.

    However, we don't meet up much and came up with a way to do it.

    >> First I want to point out that if this is in anyway illegal or you guys at Wulven do not 'like' this please just delete this post and so be it. But I figured, I have gotten a lot of help from the people on these forums, and wanted to repay the favor.

    So this consists of two Documents - one is an Excel sheet that I created with all the cards (copied from the Card-List page), then making the assumption that each Booster has; 1 Hero, 1 Rare/Epic, 3 Uncommon and 10 Common (Taken From this thread)

    I created a random Booster Pack generator! So I can refresh the excel sheet to get a new booster every time.

    The 2nd component was to create a live document in Google Documents that I then would assign each player one of the randomly generated Boosters.
    I'm going to try and insert a screenshot to give you an idea what it looks like:
    SEBooster.jpg

    The sheet has a little formatting trick to let you know when it is your turn to go, and all you do it read which Booster you Draw from for that round. Then you DRAG the card you want to the yellow "your turn" cell. Once one row is done, the next row then displays that it is 'your turn'.

    Once we all have our cards, we will go into SE and make our 40 card deck.

    We wanted to try and do a 6 Booster Draft, however the 'rules' state that you need to make a 30 card minimum deck. I do not know of any way to play a non-standard with invites so, we need to make 40 card decks, which we are going to be able to do.

    Opportunities:
    I would love to be able to do a Meltdown using this method!!!! But unfortunately we are unable to do this within the digital program as you are not even able to make a deck with wrong factions etc...

    Didn't know where else to post this, but let me know if people are interested in the Excel file, and I can share it with you guys.
    Wulven, let me know if it is ok to share.

    PS: Just wanted to let you know that all 4 of us pre-ordered at a minimum $100 for boosters and start-ups of the physical cards.

    UPDATE <<8-28-12>>:
    Attached the EXCEL file in ZIP format.
    Also, here is the google document that you can use to paste the Boosters into it and share with your fellow players:

    Enjoy - I'll check this post periodically to answer any questions.

    And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
    Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
    In a coat of gold, or a coat of red, a lion still has claws;
    And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.

    It's fine to share this. Hopefully it will not be too long until the implemented version of booster draft and meltdown go live. I don't have visibility of the software development side, but I hear it's close to hitting the test server.

    Well, not quite, since I only did sealed deck, not booster draft.

    Cool, I'll try and update the OP with the Excel file.
    Also, add a link to the Google Doc as well.

    ::Update::
    OP Has been updated!
