RANDOMIZER 2 - Another Tournament
Hi, everybody! Okay, this one's gonna be complicated (but not as complicated as Randomizer 1, LOL).
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You need to have registered on the forums in July 2012 or earlier.
2. You need to be able to meet the tournament's schedule.
3. 40 card decks (hero included) as minimum.
4. Finalists of the previous Randomizers (The Haydes, GSE GrimGuardian) and their heroes (Banebow, Lance
REWARDS:
1. First place wins 1000 SC.
2. Second place gets 500 SC.
3. The tournament is sponsored by Wulven!
RULES:
1. Fairness above all.
2. This is a hero-lock tournament, you are not allowed to change your hero between rounds.
3. Deck-lock for each round.
4. Each hero can only be chosen by 1 player only (first come, first serve basis).
5. To apply for the tournament you need to provide your IGN and the hero you intend to play (NOTE rule #3).
6. Games are played on the Bo2-5 basis (explained below).
7. Pair-ups for each round will be random (based on the certain principles to be disclosed after the tournament concludes).
8. The first 15 players eligible to participate will join the tournament.
9. I will be the 16th player and will have to choose from the remaining 3 heroes.
Details on rule # 6:
A. You play 2 games switching turns with your opponent, and if you win both you proceed to the next round.
B. If after the first 2 games you have a score of 1-1, then you play another 2 games in the same fashion as stated in rule A.
C. Should this result in a score of 2-2, you play the 5th and final game with a random player to go first, and the winner proceeds to the next round.
D. A sync error will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
E. A frozen game will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
F. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless BOTH players agree to replay or a player concedes.
G. A draw doesn't count and will have to be replayed (with a random player going first for games # 1, 3, 5 and the same player to go 1st for games # 2 & 4).
H. I'll work in this NOT as a permanent checker of all the games, but as an intervention guy. Meaning that I will be a referee, should that be required by one of the participants of the game in question.
SCHEDULE:
1. Deadline for Round 1 - 20th of August.
2. Deadline for Round 2 - 25th of August.
3. Deadline for Semifinals - 28th of August.
4. Deadline for the Finals - 31st of August.
5. Being unable to comply results in an auto-loss (unless you have a reeeaaally good reason for that and PM it to me)!
