I need more cards to make demo decks, since two of my playsets have still not arrived, so I will be opening another booster box tonight.
As before, I have no need for the redeem codes, so it's that time again, where I give them away to lucky new players.
However, I have decided to step things up a gear and make things really interesting.
And I mean REALLY REALLY INTERESTING!
Hold onto your hats and read the below:
Here's how this will work:
1) You need to have registered on this forum in June/July/August 2012 to qualify to take part (it does not matter if you won in a previous raffle, since this is an Extraffleganza!)
2) You post a reply here, listing 2 (TWO) rare or epic cards that you think I might get in my box and 1 (ONE) hero that you think I might get in foil. (You can't choose cards already picked by someone else, so be sure to use the copy-and-paste approach detailed below and also check above you after you've posted in case someone picked while you were thinking.)
3) I open my 24 packs and I give a redeem code to each person who guessed one of the rare or epics I got. If I get duplicates in my box then the person who picked that card gets a redeem code for each copy of that card.
4) If I get a foil of one of the rare/epic cards you picked, then you get a 1000SC bonus, sent to you via crystal transfer (which might take a few days to come through). If you pick a hero that I get in foil, then you get a 5000SC bonus. Yes, FIVE THOUSAND SHADOW CRYSTALS!! Am I insane?!?! Nope, just quite heavily sleep-deprived and high on caffeine and excitement about going to GenCon! Anyway, let's continue ...
5) The contest will be open to enter until 40 of the 45 rares and epics have been picked and all heroes have gone, so there is a strict 20 (TWENTY) person limit to taking part.
6) Any unpicked cards (the five leftover rares/epics) are deemed leftovers. If I end up getting one of those leftovers in my box, I will do something else INSANE. I will send 500SC to each entrant for each one that I get in a booster pack (maximum of 2000SC per person).
7) I will edit each reply to show I've seen it and prevent you from changing your answers. (If it doesn't say edited by me, then I know you've been naughty!)
8) To help people track which cards are leftover you MUST copy-and-paste the list of cards from the post above you and fill in your name on the cards you pick. If you fail to do this, you are out of this contest. This has to be the easiest way in history to get Shadow Crystals, so please do not waste your chance by being a lazy pants!
