    Cool Eternal Font [1.603]

This is a build I have been using recently based on BlanketEffect's ZTC 3.0 - The Feedbomb Dynamo.

    Current Deck (40):

    4 x Infernal Gargoyle
    3 x Fire Snake
    4 x Death Mage Thaddeus
    (11 allies)

    1 x Energy Discharge
    1 x Soul Reaper
    4 x Mind Control
    4 x Feedback
    2 x Eternal Renewal
    4 x Shadow Font
    4 x Sacrificial Lamb
    4 x Bad Santa
    (24 abilities)

    4 x Bazaar
    (4 items)

There is already quite a bit of discussion on ZTC which I recommend reading before trying a feedbomb style build.

The opening is crucial and where the game is won and lost. Having to resource crucial cards to prevent too many allies hitting the board can be impossible to overthrow. This is the only situation which Energy Discharge can provide a last chance to come back. Soul Reaper is not only important in some matches where healing is needed, but to remove allies from your graveyard before renewing it to your draw pile to more easily reuse Shadow Font, Mind Control, Bad Santa, and Feedback.

Most of your damage comes from Zaladar's ability and your opponents allies, so you will want to target the hero when using Zaladar's ability at every stage and use Feedback, draw, allies, and Mind Control to keep the opponents allies to a minimum. The biggest struggle is against decks that can destroy Bazaar which should go out as soon as possible.

    Demonstration play list.

Looks interesting. Do you find you have enough allies to really utilize soul reaper to its potential?

Ive (admittedly briefly) played some feedbomb decks. The biggest issue for me was that even playing a lonf feedbomb chain, the effect was not that powerful. Most of the cards played that turn are bad santa, feedback, sac lamb, etc. theend result is that i used maybe a shadow font, mind control and got a gargoyle in play in one turn. Thats pretty good, but i felt like it was never enough to win, not as strong as a simple gwen with a buffed katar, imo, considering all the cards played that turn.

Im interested in the deck though, let us know how it goes.

Yes, although the best benefit is usually just removing them so I can get to Fonts and MCs faster.

Yeah, this is the unexpected benefit of Soul Reaper. Kent used to use this a long time ago as a core part of his deck too.

just fought a variant of this deck a few minutes ago. &%@ got serious way fast. mc's and zal's ability every turn, you won't really need creatures to take board.

This is absolute genius, played only one game with so far but for sure my new favorite deck. Utterly destroyed an ally nish who was 30 above my rating and not once did I ever feel threatened. Super smooth running even tho on paper it looks like a hard combo to get set up, but it utterly sets itself up. And soul reaper is extremly effective, my game I healed 12 but can easily see averaging higher per game, and that's simply an added benefit to a card that vastly improves the decks second cycle. After the first reaper/renewal, and as your resources pile up, its only harsher to the opponent x4. Its like a pain filter raining down a very unorthodox kill condition, that on two fronts cleans the field AS its doing its killing.

Will be cloning this until I understand how I can tweak it slightly for my tastes. But the core of this is solid, and not much variation can really change from that core. But Work of Genius for sure!

Very interesting deck and fun to play. However it has huge vulnerability - rush. Especially if you get screwed with the draw and won't get allies in early game (it's quite possible considering your have not that many of them).

Another thing - only one Soul Reaper. I would go for 2 because if you sac one in early game, but still may need it later on.

Pretty awesome deck, very epic video with Victor!

Question though, how do you deal with:

    1. Gwen with SS + Rapid Fire? The strong healing and high damage and increased durability of SS is not easy to smash through
    2. Spelleater Bands? (other than ploughing through with allies which may not be easy when faced against a control rogue deck and not to mention their IGG + Stop! Thief

Love to hear your insights on these opponents, cheers!

I played against this Deck earlier today. I BARELY won with my Gwen Deck. The replay should still be available. It was pretty tough as I have never seen someone playing this before. Very good game though. He got cocky at the end and prematurely gave me a "Good Game". Har har, next turn Soul Seeker and ability.
