When I am playing against CPU's the game will stop so that all I can do is press skip, and end my turn. It has happened so many times that I can barely finish any matches. It happens in both my downloaded version on my Computer, and on my iPod touch version.

It's happend quite afew times myself, but i found out that changing the graphics from fantastic to fastest cured the issue.May not work for everyone but it's worth a shot.

Trying various combinations of Graphics quality and game speed, but the game keeps locking up. Wasn't like this when I started playing, but now happens like 2 out 3 duels vs the AI (downloaded PC version)
+1 Yep, this is also happening to me, version 1.603 and if I´m not wrong this happened to me like 3 times in version 1.503
I have this exact problem as well, and came here in the hopes that someone might have a solution. I play on the iPad. I am going to try deleting the app and reinstalling as there doesn't seem to be a specific solution here.
Well changing the graphics did make a big difference on the pc version, however it will still do it.

Same problem here. I'm missing out on lots of xp and gold due to the issue. Also, changing my graphics and speed does not fix the issue
Deleting the app from my iPad and then reinstalling through the app store (I never use iTunes) did not help. This release has definitely got some issues. I can usually finish 4 out of 5 games against the AI ... Then one will "freeze" mid-game.

Also happening to me, but it seems to be only some AI Heros and only on specific levels.
For example, at Level 10 it happens nearly every time I play against Mayija, but never against Darkclaw.
As a workaround I would leave those crashing Heros until you level up one or two times. Chances are, they will work fine then.
