      No such thing as a good ranking frankly. Its a flawed system that too heavily takes into account the games played during the first week of a reset.

      i've played 11 games since reset (maybe 12). I won all of them. Im 294.

      really doesn't mean anything. Just try to get to a steady 245-260 by the time the rankings settle in a few weeks. You will find diverse competition and decent players. The players who go hard in the first few weeks to get up to 310+.... they spend a lot more of their time thinking about the meta and stuff like that.

      Well the game is balanced around the highest level of play, at the 500+ rating FS doesn't even make an appearance in any decks.

      since there are no rewards yet for ratings, ratings really don't mean much except as a gauge of skill. and even then, not by much, because a fairly inactive player would have ratings decay if he stops playing.

      Um, no, there currently is no rating decay. In fact, that's part of the reason that the ratings have no meaning, because it is incredibly difficult to get into the top ratings when the people at the top ratings are not using the accounts with the top ratings.

      True, but that is the core issue with the system.
