Android Update not working [1.603]

Well after happily downloading the version from the link on the download page. Every time I try and open the game it just hangs on the sign in screen and closes.

I get the feeling this version is not compatible somehow as it is not showing in the Android Market either.

You'll have to give us some more info and at least mention what device and OS version you are using.

It's not showing up on the market for me either. HTC Desire running 2.3 Gingerbread.

For now you'll need to grab v1.603 from the download page but I just tried it on Ice Cream Sandwich and Froyo and it seems to work fine.

@Keaven Have you tried restarting your device and reinstalling Shadow Era?

Downloaded the ARM7 version and its fine. Thanks AnAdolt, completely forgot about the Android download from the site when will it be in the market though? Id like to have it from there so ill get update notifications.

My phone says HTC with sense and is running Android 2.2.

I have tried every combination of installing, uninstalling, and reseting. The market place now has a comment about digital foils, but when I install that the program will load, but shows v1.503 and gives an error message: "error: client 1.6 required." I think because I have foils saved in my decks from pc web version.

When I install either version from the download page the game closes as soon as the login page displays.

Looks like an issue with Froyo as that seems to be the common denominator. My sister's phone is on Froyo so I'll try v1.6 on her phone tomorrow.

Check for software updates Keaven, there should be a Gingerbread upgrade available. I bought mine with 2.2 (Froyo) but did an over air upgrade to 2.3 some time ago now.
