I like the suggested wording other then it should be "At the start of your turn bad wolf regenerates 1 health"
for one regenerating damage sounds weird
and two the trigger should be first like all other cards i have seen. perhaps try to keep cards text formatted similar, start with trigger. then effect and target, or in this case target and effect as it would not make sense the other way
in bad wolf "at the start of your turn" is the trigger
in other cards the trigger is such as "pay 2" or "when enters play" ect ect thus keeping them formatted with trigger first helps with consistency
anyway just my thoughts
You make a good point from yourself, thanks
This card is way too strong to be a 3 Mana creature. I'd increase the cost to 5 or even 6.
I agree. This card is too powerful for the cost. I don't think 6 is reasonable for this game, based on the other cards, but at least 4, preferably 5.
This is a great card, and I really don't think it needs to be nerfed.
Cost will be increased to 4:
- 4 cost creatures will have 7-8 stat points divided between attack and health, plus an ability
- Bad Wolf's ability is pretty good, however it is also an uncommon card
Ahh setting up a point system ehh? this is much like the system modern mmorpgs use for item creation. that works something like....
Items have a base point value known as "item budget" that can be spent on the various stats and effects on the item (special effects have pre defined point costs in their system)
In mmos the amount of points an item has that a Dev can spend in the item is determined by the items level and the items rarity level.
These systems where put into place in modren mmos cuz in the past before mmos used a balancing system like this some devs would make items that turned out to be stupidly powerful compared to other items of the same lvl and rarity. these days item budget systems are hard coded into the mmos engine and the games Development team can't go beyond the points an item has even if they wanted to... forced balance and standardization.
So in shadow era a cards "points" is determined by casting cost and rarity i assume? very good way to go about it Kyle as there are allot of inconsistencies among cards of the same rarity and casting cost atm. only tricky part is deciding what the various special effects on cards are worth point wise.
This card may definitely be on the stronger side...but I kinda thought it was fine the way it was (at a cost of 3).
Nevertheless, it would be nice if there were more allies that cost between 1-3 resources....
