Yo guys, Keith is Back!
With this guide I will explain the all the IRC commands with a short description on what they do and an example, if available.
First of all I recommend to go to read Preybird's Guide on getting onto IRC (which you can find here http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....ing-onto-IRC), if youre a new player, and my guide, Keith's IRC Command Guide (which you can find here http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....ommand-Guide), if you want to know the most used command.
With no further ado let me start.
Admin
/Admin <servernamehere>
This command show you the admin info about the IRC server you are connected with.
If let without a server name, it will tells you the info about the one youre currently connected with.
Example on rowling.freenode.net:
== Administrative info about rowling.freenode.net
== You're using freenode! For assistance, please '/stats p' and message someone on the list
== For further assistance, please see http://freenode.net/faq.shtml, or email
== support@freenode.net
Away
/Away <messagehere>
With this command youll be marked as being Away for the reason you type.
Then every peeps that will do a MSG (will explain this later) to you, or do the WhoIs (will explain this later too later) on you will see the message you typed.
If you don’t write any message, this will mark you as no long being Away.
Example on an /Away <message> command:
== You have been marked as being away
Away: Im currently writing a guide
Example on an /Away without message:
== You are no longer marked as being away
Thankx to OgAusp for the help with this command.
Cycle
/Cycle <#channel1> <#channel2> etc...
This command is good if you don’t have a stable connection, I think.
With this command you exit and re-join in all the channel you are currently in.
Cant show an example of this command, you just exit and quickly re-join in all the channel you were in.
Info
/Info
This command show you all the info about the server you are connected.
Example: too long to write and/or to copy-paste.
Invite
/Invite <nickname> <#channel>
This command make you so you can invite other people to join your channel, otherwise you cannot join it.
Example (on my own channel +i) without inviting a nick:
== #T4S Cannot join channel (+i) - you must be invited
Example (on my channel with +i) with inviting a nick:
== TJ|Barcafan95X [5d876bb6@gateway/web/freenode/ip.93.135.107.182] has joined #T4S
Thankx to Barcafan95 for the help with this command.
Ison
/Ison <nickname>
This command will tell you if the nick you type is online or not (the nick you type CAN be online but not on the same channel as you)
Cant show an example of this command cause I never used it but, please, if someone has tried this post the message you get and I will update this command example.

** Note: I used this command in my channel, since I can become an OP only there lol, and on a nick with I entered there with my IPod ***
This command let you forcibly remove a user from the channel.
Example on my channel with me as OP:
==KeithStar was kicked from #T4S by IKeith [KeithStar]
Knock
/Knock <#channel> <yourmessagehere>
With this command you can request to join a channel with the +I (invite only) flag on it.
Example with my channel:
== #T4S AA1-SpeedFreak!~androirc@117.198.56.235 has asked for an invite.
Thankx To Speed Freak for the help with this command
Link
/Links
This command, that I find useless in any way possible, will let you see all the server linked together.

== rowling.freenode.net rowling.freenode.net 0 Corvallis, OR, USA
== * End of /LINKS list.
List
/List <#channel> [</> #whatyousearchfor]
Another useless command…
This command let you see all the channel that matched what you are looking for with the current topic.
Example on shadowera channel:
== Channel Users Name
== #shadowera 20 petition GOH to make a decent deckbuilder for mobile platforms! http://www.se-aqua.com/decks/
== End of /LIST
**Note: i did another search, which i was looking for all the channel with <12 (minus than 12) users but it seems that they were too much and my browser crashed…**
Lusers
/Lusers <servernamehere>
This command will show you the local and global user that are online, and their max, for the server you type.

Me
/Me. <yourmessagehere> (this command must be write without the "." [dot]
My fav command so far.

Example from we were talking about booster packs:
* Keith-Guide-Beep will NEVER buy a booster pack
Mode
/MODE <nicknamehere> <+/- mode>
/MODE <#channel> <+/- mode>
The first one will let you change the mode for the nickname you type, when the second let you change the mode for the channel you type.
Example with my channel:
== mode/#T4S [+i] by KeithStar
MOTD
/MOTD <servernamehere>
This command show you the Message Of The Day (MOTD) for the server you type.
If let blank it will tell you the MOTD for the current server you are connected with.
Cant show the example since that the server that im connected with has one very long.
MSG
/MSG <nickname/#channel> <messagehere>
This command let you send a PM (Private Message) to the nickname/channel you type.
Cant show an example but I will update if some has done this before.
Names
/Names <#channel>
This command show you the list of the available user in the channel you type
Cant show an example for this one cause when I type the command it show me nothing, Idkw…
Nick
/Nick <yournewnickhere>
This is one of the most used command and is pretty known by anyone on the IRC, but I write it here for the new guys facing the IRC for the first time.
This command let you change nick every time you want, only if it is not yet registered by someone elses (in this case you have 30 sec to identify or your nick will be changed automatically).
If you change nick to one that you have registered just identify yourself and your done (usually this is done throu the first screen of the IRC page checking the Auth To Service box and writing there your IRC account name and the password)
Example with me changing nick:
== KeithStar has changed nick to TJ|KeithStarX

This command let you send a message to the nick/channel you type.
Note that this command let you send a message to the channel youre not in.
