Popup Championship Series

Popups have become all the rage now days… and why not? They are fast, fun, and anyone who has time can just throw their hat in the ring. They allow for a chance for experimental builds as well as standard powerhouse decks. Meta and anti-meta are welcome and competitive and create a meta that is exclusive to popups. Because of the popularity… Team Juggernauts has decided to create the Popup Championship Series.

This Championship Series will consist of 9 popup tournaments in order to determine the contestants of the final popup tournament!


The point system will be:
1 points for winning a round (or a bye)
1 points for 3rd/4th place
2 points for 2nd place
3 points for 1st place


This means a first place victory would earn you 7 points, second place would earn 5, 3/4 place would earn 3, and winning only 1 round would earn you 1 point.

Please check your name for accuracy and PM me with any discrepancies you may have. ONCE FINAL PRIZES HAVE BEEN REWARDED, NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE. Tie breakers will be determined by number of popups attended.

Points stack and carry through all 9 tourneys. The highest 16 point holders will face off in a final popup tourney.


The popups will be geared towards 3 main time zones, Pacific +8 (Singapore, Perth, China), US -5 (Central) and European +2 (Paris) at 7:30pm Saturday evening in their time zone. The signups will happen exactly 24 hours in advance in order to give that time zone the best chance of signing up. We will restrict the popups to the first sixteen players.


The 9 qualifying tournaments will happen on
June 23rd at 11:30 and 19:30 GMT, and June 24th at 00:30 GMT
June 30th at 11:30 and 19:30 GMT, and July 1st at 00:30 GMT
And July 7th at 11:30 and 19:30 GMT, and July 8th at 00:30 GMT

The Qualifying tournaments will be hero lock and deck lock for each tournament, but you may switch decks from tournament to tournament.


The final tournament will happen on July 14th and will be played at 13:00 GMT.

The prizes for the qualifying tournaments will be
100 SC for 2nd place
200 SC for 1st place

Winners of SC's from weekly qualifiers must PM me their email for their transfer. I will not honor any unclaimed prize after the next week's round of qualifiers have started.

The prize for the Championship will be
2nd place: 2500 SC
1st place: 1 pack of premium and 1 pack of exclusive foils!
