Victor Heartstriker deck. What next?

Ok so I've been playing with the basic Victor Hearstriker deck just long enough to bag myself 100 crystals and I'm looking for some advice on how best to spend them and improve my deck. For anybody who needs to know, my current deck is as follows:

1x Victor Heartstriker
2x Dirk Saber
2x Sandra Trueblade
3x Puwen Bloodhelm
3x Blake Windrunner
1x Aimed Shot
1x Poison Arrow
1x Flaming Arrow
2x Into the Forrest
1x Battle Plans
1x Surprise Attack
2x Net Trap
1x Tracking Gear
1x Cover of Night
1x Retreat!
1x Reinforced Armor
1x Special Delivery
1x Campfire Stories
2x Rain Delay
2x Extra Sharp
1x Bazaar

I'm pretty new to this and not especially attached to my cards so any advice would be much appreciated even if it means getting a new deck and scrapping most of the above. If anybody could suggest a deck that would allow for a competitive combination that would be great!

Welcome! Your deck frankly needs a lot of work. How much gold do you have and are you intending to spend money on buying Shadow Crystals?

In general, you should be looking at the following core cards:

4X Wrath of the Forest
At least 4X Poison Arrow/Flaming Arrow
4X Net Trap/Death Trap
4X Puwen
4X Jasmine/Priest of the Light (would be costly)
3X Aldon

Best way to spend SC is to buy elemental starters and sell the cards inside for gold.

Victor isn't exactly the strongest hero in game currently so not sure if you want to stick with him.

Do you really want to play Victor as Gwen is far better right now?

They have quite different strengths and weaknesses and I would not recommend Gwen to a new player who has very little gold/sc.

Not particularly bothered tbh. As I'm new to the game this is the only deck I've played and I'm pretty ignorant about anything else apart from the ai opponents I've played. I I've just gained 175 extra crystals from the giveaway so I wouldn't even mind getting a couple of new decks ad scrapping this one altogether!

I've got 945 gold and 275 shadow crystals. I don't intend to spend real money on SC! Please excuse my ineptitude but I've only just realised that gold can be used to buy and sell individual cards!

If you intend to stick with Victor, then get the cards I listed. Also note you need a minimum 40 cards to play online. The Merchant tab allows you to both buy and sell individual cards.

2X Raven/Sandworm/Earthen Protector
2X Aeon

4X Poison Arrows

Of course Gwen is a bit more expensive, but quite effective, with 275 SC and 1000g he can easily buy 4 Soul Seeker and 4 Jasmine, next level, 2 Aeon and 2 Aldon, and after only cheapest cards are left for when he gets enought gold. That only if he want to stick with human hunters, and wants to play vs AI for the next 6 level, now Majiya it is really cheap to build a deck fun to play in pvp.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'd like to get into PvP asap. I'm lv4 atm. So if I get to 300 SC, get 3x shadow elemental deck and then sell all the new cards and the crummy ones I already have, I should be able to build myself a decent deck? Honestly, would you recommend sticking with hunters or starting from scratch?

If you want to go to pvp, go buy a shadow mage deck, and 2 elementals deck and make something like this deck :

4 Firesnake
4 Gargoyle
3 Dearh Mage
3 Plasma Behemot
4 Fire Ball
4 Lightnin Strike
3 Super Nova
4 Book of Knowlegde
2 Sever Ties
2 Shriek of Vengeance
3 Ley Line Nexus
3 Dagger of Unmaking

I got a 20 win streak with ths deck, so...

And with gold and crystals from win/level up, you'll be able to finish your hunter deck later.
