Katrin + Earthen Protector (fixed some time ago)

This may just be a conceptual issue, but it seems weird that if an ally buffed by Katrin The Shieldmaiden (typically a protector) is brought back into play, by Earthen Protector, it loses it's health buff and Katrin can not use her ability again. I have not been able to test if this is the case with Ghostmaker as well.

I think it's because according to the game the ally never leaves play, Earthen sacrifices itself before that can happen.

Earthen Protector does say "returned to play" which hints that the ally did leave play, so I would have to think its a bug. Preybird's assumption may be correct.

Ill Gotten Gains triggers twice when an ally is killed and brought back by Earthen Protector (once for the ally, once for EP) so I would think the ally leaves play. Looks like a bug.

I'm not so sure (hence the confusion) because the wording of Katrin has nothing to do with leaving play, "This ability can't be used again while that ally is in play".

Good point. The ally leaves play, but that same ally returns to play. Hmmm......
