I like him. Nice ability - maybe a bit strong but not sure about that.

I would think its a bit strong, perhaps drop the dmg to 3 and mana cost to 4

I think it seems perfectly balanced as is. It's a hero card, not a normal ally. These guys/gals are supposed to have some pull to make you choose to use them over the other heroes available! Though the balanced/not balanced argument for hero cards would be easier to discuss when we know the other heroes abilities!

I'm a little confused by hero card abilities. The little number with the black circle means the number of resources you need, correct?

I don't know how to use hero abilities neither.

About the card - the ability is nicely balanced, I don't have as of yet enough experience to judge it's health, but it seems ok too.

Repeatable board wipe? Although selfishly I would like to say this card is fine, I believe it will be too powerful. It will wipe all the early creatures and build up resources until it can kill the opponent with damage spells.

I'm going to have to agree to be in the camp that Repeatable Hero Abilities need to be tempered a little better.

It doesn't make deck bulding too interesting if I know I have this amazing ability active from turn 5 onwards.

Majiya is still way too powerful with her current power, but this guy is almost as amazing as she is. He breaks card advantage almost as degenerately as she does.

Refer to "Sweeper spells" in this article:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Card_advantage

I don't even need to draw the "Sweeper Spell" to take advantage of it, I know I'll have it permanently active from turn 5 onwards.

If anything, you can get away with these powerful hero abilities but you seriously need to consider making them one time use.

I think he's fine as long as all the hero's have relatively powerful effects. That seems to be the case so far.

I agree with kirkwb. Of what we've seen so far, the hero powers are pretty bonkers for not being one-time use, especially the Shadow Mage one (why, oh why can't I use you, Majiya?). This probably needs some balancing; either make the hero powers weaker or make them one-time use.
