grave diggers ability and gy randomness

So after rwading the gravedigger bug thread, it got me thinking about this card and how to use it in the actual game. When its ability is activated, you draw a random card from your opponents graveyard. Ok. I can dig that. However, say i played an fb, and it gets placed at the top of my graveyard. They activate gravedigger, and immediately grab that card from my graveyard. Not very random.

Alright then. So what if i shuffle my graveyard to simulate randomness? Again, now you are messing with ally order, on the off chance you are playing with sk. Anyways, what are your thoughts on how this ability should operate in the physical game?

Roll (m)a(ny) dice?

Although it wouldn't work using mutiple dice since some numbers would come up more often than others.

Roll a d6 with 6 being another roll, and add the totals. If you 'bust' (roll higher than the total cards in the gy) then reroll the last d6 until the totals match.

I've had similar thoughts about dimension ripper, I've played a few games using careful planning, and I've noticed DR doesn't draw your opponents top card(in this case mine), it seems to just draw randomly from the stack. Can someone confirm this, and any ideas on how to use it in physical play?

Just let them pick the card with their eyes closed.
