Hi, I''m a new player and am very curious about this game. I have done some research and come up empty handed when it came to new methods in obtaining new cards for my deck. Is leveling up the only way to get boosters? If not could you please list the different ways of doing so below. Thank you, for your patience and helpfulness.

The two ways to gain cards are to spend Shadow Crystals or Gold.

Shadow Crystals are earned each level (25 per level) or can be bought for real cash. They are used on starter decks or booster packs. (tip: if you just want gold, buy and sell elemental starters, they sell for the most)

Gold is earned with each victory or by selling owned cards and can be spent on individual cards in the merchant. (tip: you can only ever use 1 copy of each hero and 4 copies of any other card. If you have more, selling them won't harm you in any way)

Well..you can level up to gain shadow crystals (25 per level) to buy starter decks or booster packs.
I would suggest you to buy a starter deck of the same hero you have started with.
Or you can buy an elemental starter deck and then sell all the cards netting you near about 1800 gold which you can use to buy individual cards.
Lastly, you can spend real money to but Shadow Crystals..that gives you a huge boost + supports this wonderful game.

I am new too and cannot buy crystals right now, but I've earned (and spent) over 500 crystals by using the "Earn Crystals" option in the merchant buy panel. If you do it right, it can be fairly painless.
