Booster Box vs. Complete Set

2 booster boxes cost $80 with 5,800 x 2 right after purchase, then each booster pack contains equivalent amount of Shadow crystal hence in the end you get 23200 crystals for $80.

On the contrary, $100 collectors edition gives one time 15000 crystals but once you receive the physical card there is no additional code to redeem for the extra shadow crystal.

So in the end, despite 2 booster boxes cost $20 cheaper, it gives 8200 extra crystals. (Obviously, two booster boxes generally won't get you complete cards one each, but with promo going on I guess its possible to get all cards as you are covered for both EPIC and Rares by ordering booster box so all you need is one each for common & uncommon.

**I don't think there is any problem trading foil version you get with non-foil version if that's something someone prefers..

Am I correct on this?

Who told you that? you will have another 15000 crystals!

B0HATER is correct. It was previously announced that the Collector and Complete Play Set packages would come with a code to redeem the appropriate amount of crystals.

Great thing that I checked. I was only reading the official site and they talk about booster pack, theme deck come with redeemable code, but didn't see its mentioned for collector's and complete play set.

One more question then, based on the $40 and above rule. How will that apply for 2 booster boxes vs. Collector's edition? 2 booster boxes as each cost $40, I presume we will get 2x promo packs? But Collector's are since only one order, I assume we only get one promo set. Am I correct on this?

You get one set of the bonus's for each order you buy $40 or over. If you only order one collector's addition, then you only get one set of bonuses. If you buy two booster boxes you get two sets of bonuses.

EDIT: If you had the chance to buy things like the single starter deck or the you and a friend package, and then you bought a booster box, then you will receive two bonuses. You only get an extra set of bonuses AFTER your first purchase AND your further purchases were $40 or higher.

So what if I actually have starter deck package already, and decide to purchase 2 booster boxes in addition. Will that get me 3 promo sets?? Or 2 is maximum?

Don't forget also that there are some extra bonuses for Collectors and Complete playsets (eg 1 or 4 extra set of foil cards).

actually, if i remember correctly, thats incorrect. there arent going to be codes in the complete set and the collectors set... they are going to manually add the crystals to your account when they ship them or shortly there after.
