Where is that at? All the card shops I knew of are now closed, except for the Game Room

Yeah, that's a little far for us to be regulars there...but like I told Orange Hat Guy, I wouldn't mind coming down once in a while if a scene develops down there

I'm always willing to travel 300 miles to play. Doesn't even need to be big. At one of our local FNM here in Buffalo ohh (FNM means Friday night magic for those no magic players) we had 50+ plus each week but I found another place with 10-15 players each week and prefer the smaller size casual games then some bigger ones. Untill I can get more cards (atleast 2 more boxes) I really can't even start thinking about playing but if you guys have a draft or a meltdown then yea I'm willing to drive, pay for my packs, food, gas to play shadow era in person and have fun well to me that's priceless. This TCG has got me really excited and Im a hardcore magic fan, playing that since day 1 but really my magic has gone to the waste side cause I prefer to play shadow era. Ive shown demos to hobby store owners here and 1 of them seemed interested and the other.....I have no idea if he understood the game so the availability of the actual cards might kill the game. Sure people will play online, but to be honest I rather feel the cards in my hand, showing off my collection, swapping trade binders with other collectors allof that to me is just awesome. I'm going to keep looking for online stores for some cards and when I do, ohhh boy I'll be ready to host and travel to any all games and can't wait!

I think I am going to wait a bit before organizing anything at a game shop here in Columbus. Don't let that stop you if you want to, I just don't have the time to commit to anything weekly at the moment.

The Guard Tower is the best place to organize TCG tournament in Columbus. I can't honestly say they are easy to work with, but they have a great gaming area, so it is the best I have found in the last decade. If you know of a new place (or one that I haven't heard of) then by all means go for it.

I will say to avoid the Soldiery. If you start tournaments there I would not attend them with any regularity because the owner/manager is a bad human being.
