    Nishaven GateMage

    Nishaven Pious Mage 40

    4x jasmine
    2x kurt
    4x puwen
    3x aldon
    4x priest of the light

    4x fireball
    4x lightning strike
    4x tome of knowledge
    4x portal
    2x supernova
    4x retreat

kind of working the protal angle with this one, with potl and retreat... but thats just a side strategy. control the early game with allies and then spell back up. and then up the attack with portal.

no item destruction, risky i know for a mage nowadays but i am tired of item destrcution "getting in the way" and not having it when you need it anyway.

heavier on allies than Nishaven's ive seen. (would love to have wizent in this deck ) i never understood why nish was always ally light. all mages throw around supernova like its candy... so why is nish the only one that is ally light?

if you like this one, you will LOVE the next one

    Nishaven GateMage number 2

    Nishaven Swamp Master 42

    4x jasmine
    4x puwen
    3x aldon
    4x marshland sentinal
    4x raven
    2x aeon

    4x fireball
    4x lightning strike
    4x tome of knowledge
    4x portal
    4x retreat

the main idea here is to portal out marshland and use his ability right then. maybe even save two in hand for turn 8.

    My version:

    1x Nishaven

    4x Blake
2x Dirk (or Puwen, it's a matter of taste)
    4x Jasmine
    2x Aldon
    4x Tainted Oracle
    2x Raven

    4x Fireball
    4x Lightning Strike
    4x Arcane Burst
    4x Retreat
    2x Ley Line Nexus

    2x Tome
    2x Snow Sapphire

Arcane Burst is great to kill allies with more than 4 life that survive Nish's ability (Infernal Gargoyle, Chimera, Raven, Plasma Behemoth, Cobra Demon, Molten Destroyer, Brutal Minotaur, Ogloth etc...).
    Snow Sapphire helps against weapons.
Only 2 Tomes because of Tainted Oracle which suits better in the deck.
4x of Blake because it is deadly to play it after a reset of the field and helps to keep board control. It's also very good when going first.

I am an old player who didn't play SE for months and now I'm back, so I don't know the new meta-game very good. If I'm missing something give me a hint XD
