    Question Stealer Hunters Discussion

These days I was thinking about using Gravedigger's Cloak and Night Prowler for hunters. Ive tested these cards with Gwen and found it is hard to set up this combo.
Someone knows if it is viable? Or maybe in some specific deck could work?

Night Prowler works better with Gwen; Gravedigger's requires spend SE, whereas Night Prowler simply requires maintaining board control. Both are feasible, but you either need to build your deck around them or just use them on the side when you can and not rely on them.
Congratulations to Preybird for designing my Avatar!

Guardian's Oath can be a good combo with Night Prowler. With Gwen's ability she can prevent some allies from destroying the armour without using an item destruction ability to destroy the weapon in the same turn, and can steal an extra card if the Hero needs to attack to remove it.

I prefer Rogues with these items, however.

Ive tested on the test server only against the AI and found that ITF + NP seems to work, but the time I was setting up the Rapid fire + weapon the enemy was outdraw. I think against real players this should work better. T5 weapon, T6 rapid fire, T7 night prowler + ITF. I was using 4x NP and 4x ITF to make this combo works better but sometimes I must sac NP or ITF on the beggining.
If I could get it to work properly it would be a different deck as I never saw stealer hunters yet.

Even without the ITF to cover your NP, getting one card from their hand is often beneficial enough anyway.

Id say its a luck play 'cause you can get one KP or a simple fire snake.

It's also an expensive combo if they have a weapon to remove your armour straight away, so you need a good unilateral draw to really abuse it. I also recommend holding your rapid fire for later if you can to get it out faster as you will need the speed. It actually works much better as a mid-game play for post board control.

I just tried several combos but I didnt feel comfortable with this kind of play yet. Thinking to give up.

It is very difficult to set up against a good deck which is why if I focused on it I would have 4 Night Prowlers in my deck and aim for mid game control resourcing every copy I got early, and relying on Lily to bring the one I eventually use back rather than try and hold a spare.

The only deck I can effectively use it in so far (and for only about 10-15% of matches I even try to set it up) is St. Ripper, and I only use 1 copy. If it gets in the way of a more reliable strategy I resource it. When I draw it mid-late game it can close the match. The same can be said for the one copy of Spelleater Bands in the deck. Also plenty of Lily's to bring them back if needed.
