has anyone had any success with an Elementalis deck past 300? i really want to use him but i just can't handle decks that out control me at the start...
sadly i am forced to youse tier 1 heroes like Majiya or Zaladar if i want to stay above 300.

I don't know about success at 300+, but my current build for him might give you a base from which to build and experiment with.

I keep a running list of games I've played and what generally happens with them here.
You have to know the deck pretty well before going PvP, and I always spend at least three games warming up against the AI to refresh myself on what to drop and what to keep, but I think its solid and could do a lot of damage in the right hands. Still gets a bad draw now and again (13-6 win/loss) but that's fairly good for Elementalis.

In order to be able to survive in early game you need stupid things like Silver of Shadow or Extra Sharp.
But basically, playing Elementalis you're giving an odds to your opponent.

His ability is bad. Can you get to 300? I don't see why not. But you aren't helping yourself.
Why wouldn't it be possible? I won 2 Qm with a 120 carded Jericho deck
I have played against multiple Elementalis decks, once with Ter and once with Zal, I won both of them, but with Ter I was put down to 2 and with Zal I was put down to 8. It's possible, but extremely hard.

It should be relatively easy to get an Elementalis deck to 300+. Or at least it would have been earlier when the reset happened. Don't really know how hard it is now.
Not impossible at the very least.
Was certainly possible right after the reset, I faced a number of 300+ Elementalis players. They beat the snot out of the more common Majiya builds quite happily.
Elementalis can also give his brother Zal a hard time. (Buffed Gargoyles FTW)

Surely possible. Ele screws up other shadow heroes most of the time. He sucks straigh away against humans though, retreat counters his ability and any other buffs.
Here's a nice strat for playing ele:
Early buff flayer/garg drops then oggy and ED. Board wiped+you have a oggy on steroids.
This fails against ally light heroes though.

Also I have been seeing more and more Elementalis in QM.
