    Current beta status and known issues

    Welcome to the first beta of Shadow Era! I hope you enjoy playing a few quick games and can see the potential there. With that being said, here is the current status:

    v1.23

    - fixed more possible multiplayer sync issues with attacking and abilities

    Zaladar
    - fixed problems with selecting only 1 target with his ability

    Bane Bow
    - fixed the display of damage when choosing the same target twice

    The iPhone version has also now been submitted!


    COMING SOON

    - much more multiplayer support: direct challenges, draft games, etc
    - weapon and armor cards for all Heroes
    - The AI will continuously be improved with every release. It really helps if you can point out dumb AI moves, such as "in this situation, the AI did this when it should have done that"

    BETA 1.01

    - version number shown at bottom of login screen
    - login box now supports longer emails
    - a loss now shows the correct screen, instead of "draw"
    - can properly play another game without reloading

    Rule changes
    - resources now come into play ready to go

    Newly implemented features
    - abilities on some cards can now be used, such as Nishaven, Majiya and Research
    - sacrifice button made red to warn you
    - floating damage numbers made much bigger

    Bugfixes
    - AI will not disable or DOT its own units
    - you can no longer stack effects of the same type onto targets

    - Reduced to 4 health, 1 attack

    - Reduced to 1 attack

    "Target enemy ally cannot attack or defend for 3 turns"

    Lightning Strike se074
    - Increased cast cost to 4
    - Fixed bug where you could not target enemy hero twice if they did not have allies in play

    Research se076
    "2: Draw a card"

    Arcane Burst se079
    "Arcane Burst does 2 damage to up to 4 different targets"

    Clinging Webs se080
    "Target enemy ally cannot attack or defend for 2 turns"


    Known Issues:

    - Many abilities are not yet working: Dirk Saber, Jasmine Rosecult, all shadow allies

    - you will now play as Majiya, the Shadow Mage

    Newly implemented features
    - all abilities and cards should now work as intended
    - plasma effect
    - victory and defeat music

    Known Issues:

    Canceling a spell of ability is still not working. For multiple target spells, canceling will still launch with your selected targets.

    This update focuses on the AI player, making for a smarter opponent that will choose attacks wisely

    I'm sure you are getting pretty tired of the mages by now, so up next is the Priest class and the new card design!

    The deck composition is far from what you would want in a real game, but for now it is important to try out different card combinations and strategies. Deck building is coming soon!
