ok done.however,i did not see if it went through or not.after I hit register,I only see the "before you signup....etc" statement...

Also,how will you and I know if you are qualified for the free entry?

I filled the info requested on gdc.com, hit the sign-up button and the message says:

"Before signing-up please read the thread something... etc... or like that"

Then when i clicked the link it took me here again...

How can I confirm if I my information went through? (I was expecting "Sign-up successful" or "waiting approval" or something like that.

Done, however I accidentally bumped the register button before I put my email in. (stupid mobile screen). So I reentered again with all the details.

EDIT: actually it would be pretty easy to add some error checking to ensure those fields are full using JavaScript. (you can even check for the @ and . in an email to ensure that its a valid email)

In part 2, after I inputed all the four fields and clicked the "register" button, there is no message such as "you have successfully registered..." displaying, just showing the original message "Before signing up, please read the official announcement thread. Thanks!" in previous page.

So I am not sure whether my registration in part 2 is successful.

There is a line on the page at the bottom that should have reported the information you entered after you hit Register. It's really tiny and not easy to spot so I almost missed it myself.

Looks like:

Name;Name;Name;me@you.com
