Just an idea I'm throwing out.
Feel free to flame
Loses hard to mages I bet.
Ninja stealth deck
Core cards:
4x Nightshade
4x Assassinate (good with nightshade)
4x Erika
4x Reconnaissance
4x Aldon
4x Cover of night (maybe, seems redundant but for non-stealth allies)
4x retreat!
What to do:
Get out hard-to-kill stealth units. These units will help you maintain board control once they build up, and it's not easy to stop stealth units building up outside of burn cards.
Nightshade is useful for ninja board control with recons or aldons. They tend to stay on board against non-mages, allowing for assassinations when you need an ally on field. They have potential to dish out some damage over a long game, left unchecked.
A problem I faced a few times was constantly getting my stealth units/Erikas disabled by CB/CP. So I decided to add some retreats which kind of gets my stealth unit back and also contributes to board control.
Once you have 2-3 nightshades on field with aldon or recon in your hand I daresay it will be difficult for the opponent to regain board control via allies.
Irritants:
Mages and their burn
Dark flayer
Evil ascendant
I was thinking of adding some protectors to protect against mage burn. But it feels odd to protect stealth units. Feels like overkill.
Haven't really tested it out yet.
What do you think?
