Thumbs up Berserker Boris returns [3.173]

It's been a while since I last played, so it's good to see this deck still holding strong in the meta. Got to 300 ranking this season using the below iteration.

    Current build (40):

    1 x Boris Skullcrusher

    3 x Lily Rosecult
    3 x Braxnorian Veteran
    (6 Allies)

    2 x Smashing Blow
    2 x Crippling Blow
    4 x Blood Frenzy
    3 x Retreat
    2 x Lythe Coating
    1 x Nowhere To Hide
    1 x Enrage
    4 x Rampage
    3 x Enslave The Beast
    (22 Abilities)

    4 x Reserve Weapon
    4 x Berserker's Edge
    3 x Rothem's Visage
    (11 Items)

    Welcome back!

I take it that you typically try to kill the allies you cripple, so that it can be recycled (plus the heal)?

    Cheers.

Always now that Anti ally attachment cards like A Legend Rises are so common in the meta, But Crippling Blow is not heavily used in this deck. Enslave The Beast is far more favoured as it's value is so much higher doing damage to the hero as well.

The version with Vess is simply not as strong without Lily's able to return Reserve Weapon and Boris's ability is perfect for regaining early board control and stockpiling for hasting allies late game, so there is no big advantage to Vess. It's still a decent deck though, but needs to go in a slightly different direction.

Here is the Vess version using a similar strategy, Shadow Night.
