Going to restart the grand Prix sign up process and the tournament will start Friday the 30th. I have made some rule changes/updates and have them listed below this message and along with all the info needed to sign up. If you have signed up before my little vacation (if you can call it that) I'm sorry to say that I'm asking everyone to signup again just easier to start fresh. Thanks again.
Rule/Rule updates:
All players when signing up will need to provide their hero they plan on using. Please note no changes will be allowed so when you sign up please make sure you really want to use that hero for the entire tournament. Also another update is that instead of using a preset schedule for pairings were going to use the Swiss style play. Meaning round 1 pairings will be random and rounds 2-4 will use pairings based on players win-loss record.
To sign up please give the following info:
1. I.G.N(in game name)
2. Hero using
After 4 rounds of Swiss the top 24 players will advance to bracket playoffs. Those top 8 will get a first round bye and also each will earn 100 shadow crystals also. All matches will be the best 2 out of 3, but the finals will be the best 3 out of 5. Tournament will allow the first 64 players that sign up, and if we get less then that I will post the amount of players that advance and earn byes before the end of round 1. No deck size maxiums. In case of sync or freezes those games will be restarted with the player that went first b4 the freeze will still go 1st in the restart. To sign up just post your info on this thread and good luck!
Prize Breakdown:
1st=4,000 crystals
2nd=2,000 crystals
3rd=1,000 crystals
Each player in top 8 after four rounds of Swiss each earn 100 crystals.
Tournament Schedule:
Sign ups 3/22 - 3/29
Round 1 starts 3/30 deadline to report - 4/5
Round 2 4/6 Deadline 4/10
Round 3 4/11 deadline 4/15
Round 4 4/16 deadline 4/20
***Brackets Starts 4/22 with 5 days in between each round.***
To advance to the top 24 players will need to earn points. Each match is 2 out of 3 with each game win worth 1 point. Winning both game 1 & 2 (sweep) will earn you an extra point. The most each match win you can earn a max of 3 points total after 4 rounds is 12 points. In case of a tie the player with the most sweeps will break the tie and earn a top 24 and or top 8 spot. If theres still a tie then there will be a 1 game playoff to see who earns that spot.
