Account has been playing elsewhere [reviewed]

Hi Team,

I just had a weird error when I hit Quick game it entered and said waiting for players.. then after a player joined I the loading screen appeared and error said "Account is logged in elsewhere" or something like that.

What does this mean?
Please advise.

Did you have SE open on two different devices (e.g. computer and iPad)? If not, maybe your opponent did, so it kicked him/her out of the game.

You only receive that message if you're logged out; you don't get notified if your opponent is logged out from one session being enforced.

i have had this error a couple of times... i thought wulven was doing something. i know that one of the times it happened, wulven was adjusting my account. (free cards thing happened while i was in my account)

Sigh. You don not get logged out when adjustments are being made to your account either.

With v1.5 a new security feature was implemented where only one session can be open for each account. Which essentially means you can only be logged into an account on one device. If you open up another browser window or tab and try to login to the same account, your other session will be logged out.

i dont do that i dont log into the same account at the same time... two different ones in different browsers yes, but not the same account. so don sigh at me. (and my cards where "adjusted" "in-between when i was logged out and then logged right back in)

I get this, I'm on an iPad and it's the only thing I have access to so I can't be logged in anywhere else. Sorry if I have misunderstood.

Happened to me twice already as well. On iPad and not logged on anywhere else.
