What Strategy Are You Using To Rank Up In 1.5?

Since 1.5 has been released, the land grab challenge has begun. We're all trying to grab a part of the Top 20 Word Ranking for ourselves.

My question to you all, is this:

What deck strategies are you using? I know that most of you who are serious about the ladder won't post deck builds, and that is fine (blueblurr excluded. he's a nut lol), but what strategies are you using in your deck designs.

Are you mostly going for board control?

Are you deathracing?

Are you trying to counter the meta (I am told that the players at the top have a meta all to their own lol)?

Also:

What play-style strategies are you using too?

Are you rushing early, and burning late (mages)?

Relying on weapons to stave off early board control loss?

Using copious amounts of healing to make elad cry? lol

I say board control is critical still despite all the mages. I use a Mage, and always think "I just need 1 good alpha strike with 2-3 allies, then I can start burning them out.". So every fireball I use on an ally is a heartbreaking loss to me.

I am using ally-less Darkclaw

. He has few bad match-ups in the current meta. I'm aiming to take him to 300 and beyond!

To reach the 300 mark with Moonstalker

was not as hard as expected. I guess when you run a hero that fits in the current meta you have good chances to climb fast and high. But if you get stuckt around 230 you might sit there for a while

Just Sharing my views.

I told my fellow BP guys to climb if u like the process. It's not a do or die thing.

The 330+ decks are pretty similar. A r,s,p is forming. Most people probably don't know what i am talking abt; but it will make a lot of sense for people who are climbing around 320+ and onwards.

(Mage, anti-Mage, anti-anti-Mage)

For those who like to climb; it's quite exciting and frustrating at the same time. You know what I mean.

Every game is at the edge of the seat for me. Unfortunately, I am working both days on weekends and will lose out on the precious window. I will try with a new Acc on mon.

In the meantime, good luck guys....

Btw, it's still possible to get into top 20 from scratch, IMO. Get a good deck- just watch all the games by the top 10, copy their deck and play style, and you'll b well on your way.

I was asking for advice in this section (Eladwen

deck) and since no one replied i just watched a few games of the number 1 player in the ranking and i changed the deck now its good :P
