It's easy: if enemy casts your ally which he got from DR, you simply retreat it in your hand. You can cast it next turn, no problem xD.

Thing is this deck doesn't really have fatties, but it would've been nice if you include Aeon, your enemy get it and think: "Haha! Now I beat him with his own card!" and casts it. And then you retreat it to yourself and that's the turn wasted for your opponent. Problem though if you playing against human you wouldn't really know whose Aeon is that.

Dunno if this is whats being referred to but if your opponent plays your ally (which they got from dimension ripper) you can return it to YOUR HAND with Retreat.
    Edit: Drat beaten to it.

    A couple of reasons.

There are many counters to CB now, from removing it to using the ally for draw with Sacrificial Lamb. This deck can keep a weapon in hand pretty well and Shield Bash can help kill almost any ally hopefully with Rampage in play too.

Also causes a bit of problem when drawn by opponent.

The reason it's there at all is for Oggy or Sandworm.

You can be certain your opponent has fatties of it's own to waste their resources on. Another use for Retreat + Dimension Ripper is to fill their hand before drawing their card. In my old deck I wanted them to get my cards, but less so in this version.

You can watch your cards leave your deck. After selecting attack and before you target with Dimension Ripper change the camera view so you can watch what card turns over on the top of your deck.

Only 5 and above weapons and armour have enough durability to worry about. It can also destroy Reserve Weapons that your opponent can draw from your deck to be revived by Lily.

Since the meta has shifted a fair bit since I first tested this deck I'm going to see how effective it is now despite the Rusty Long Sword bug.

I was wondering if a build similar to this would work for Gwen. Obviously with bows, but following the "recycle" concept.

Not without Reserve Weapon. Being able to recycle a weapon and cast support (effectively from T6 on) is crucial. Amber has a similar strategy using Into the Forest for protection.

Ah okay, I didn't realise that Reserve Weapon wasn't usable with archers. Thanks
