Basically each guild that participates has something like a gauntlet. But there is a point system involved, designated defenders, and designated heroes. There are more specifics but thats like the sparknotes of it haha

It's sort of like a streak tourney, except the streaks are cumulative and a team score, also you go for a streak against a particular guild (gauntlet style). Also, you can only 'attack' or 'defend' with nominated heroes.

Ps: the point system may need some tweaks. I mean why programm to be a defender with disadvantage at who goes first when u can just male a rush deck based on going first and just keep on attacking. Yes i know that some Heroes are better going second. Yes i know that defenders are only to defend so if the do not play a defence game they will just not play at all!! Still there should be a point system with better reward for a succesfull defense. Maybe 4 points for succesfull defense and 3 for succesfull siege. The numbers are just an example but i think u get my point right?

@Otto: Thanks for that point . I've been getting suggestions too that I entirely forgot the compensation for the defenders part. It is most likely I'll adjust the points for a successful defense. After all, its meant to be a gauntlet kinda thing
@everyone: I apologize for the long block of text Tried to summarize as much as I could but brain hardly working lol... I'll revise the rules as we go along and will post here if an update has been made Im taking my time on this one and TWAIN might be prioritized. Im thinking we start this as an April event but could be nice if we start some sort of a test run on last week of march.
Sorry if I posted this one quite early, my main aim is to somehow bring out some concerns, get enough time to prepare, and ultimately, create a FAQ corner for thread visitors to skim through incase the actual rules is too lengthy.

Otto, you won't be JUST a defender, you can also go out raiding. That's just a list of valid defenders do people know who they can challenge.
Now, the point system isn't set in stone yet, but the reason the attackers go first twice, is to make a tactical reason for picking attacking heroes and defending heroes, and it also gives some small incentive to go out looking for matches. It would be boring if everyone just sat around waiting to be challenged now, wouldn't it?

I agree but if u can be both attacker and defender one could avoid defense games if he thinks attacking gives more chances
Also another thing i discussed with Solar in irc and happily saw he agrees is the drawback point system. Since we do not want on top the guild with just most played games i guess we should have a deteriorating point system for losses. I mean it should be better to win 10/10 games than 11/100, right?
All in all i really like this idea and want to support it. I hope Solar gets the chance to organise it soon. The whole crusade style males it very interesting
