Rogues need major improvements, there is no excuse for them to still be so underpowered.
Anyone who has actually spent money on this game and purchased the rogue are getting screwed over.
I doubt there is any experienced player that would deny the rogue deck is a joke, and anytime you run into a rogue player you know its gonna be an easy match in general. It is extremely difficult to gain control or regain control of a game as a rogue player.
Below are ways to seriously improve the rogue deck and have been compared extensively to the other classes
Improvements
-
Assassination changed to be usable without exhausting an ally and cost 5 points to balance
-
Nightshade needs 2 attack damage
-
Lay Low needs to be changed... hero and allies can't be targeted for one turn
-
Ill Gotten Gains changed to cost 1 point and draw 2 cards from your deck
-
Stop Thief cost reduced to 4 points
-
Sorcerous Poison changed to add poison to target weapon or ally until start of next turn, cost increased to 3 points
-
Reconnaissance to remove the draw card bonus (to balance ill gotten gains) and its cost reduced to 2 points
Actual Good Cards
-
Mugged
-
Throwing Knife
-
Assassin Training
The excuse "its a new class" isn't acceptable, the excuse "we are working to improve things" doesn't cut it, it has been months while these changes should take a week at most.
and for improvements to the elemental deck which is also a little weak.
-
Transference cost reduced to 2
-
Feedback also draws a card from your deck
-
Energy Discharge changed to deal 5 damage to any target opponent
-
Soul Reaper changed to return any ally from either graveyard into your hand
In addition, some ideas to improve heroes you barely ever see being played.
-
Amber Rain, in addition to current effect the weapon also gains +2 durability
-
Logan Stonebreaker, changed so until the end of your turn your weapon gains +3 attack
-
Baduruu, change the +1 into +2 (I think he might be the least played hero in the game)
To be honest, Im not playing this game anymore as it is broken and I would rather play games which get improved and balanced. I also don't see much hope for improvement in this game with the release of physical cards before the game is even BALANCED.
