I've been getting "can not connect to database" errors on both my android devices, wether on 3G or wifi. It makes the game unplayable. Is this happening for anyone else?
It's been happening for me too. I get the message consistently on both my pc and my android phone. Quick matches can still be arranged, and I can communicate with the other party. However the game will freeze on his turn (my opponent sees it as my turn) and apparently even offering a draw is useless as the game will not respond!
We are working to resolve the problem but what's happening is the server load-balancing is sometimes causing problems with either computer or mobile clients from connecting to the server. If you can't connect on the computer, you should be able to on a mobile device; or vice versa. Server migrations to higher capacity servers is scheduled sometime this coming week.
