For me if we are going to immortalise a card onto a play mate ( and I think it should be one card, montage is kinda old hat!), it has to be the two most prominent cards in the first 200 edition;
Blood Frenzy and/or Supernova
There are no other cards in my opinion that have won more games or played a more pivotel role than these two and they have earnt there place as the official play mate illustration.

I really like the cool blue-greens on the Majiya art.
+1 to her being on the playmat
On a more serious note. I really like the art of Now You're Mine and Speedstrike

I honestly wouldn't mind a montage kind of thing with a bunch of the heroes on there and then the Shadow Era logo as well.

Is speed strike part of the wulven logo or do I just associate it because of Kyle's avatar?
If one of the playmats a human dude, the other should be either
A) a girl, or
B) a shadow
I vote majiya because I love the art an it ticks both boxes
Belladonna is my other favourite shadow art.
If you didn't want to go that route, then iconically it would have to be plasma behemoth, or maybe brutal Minotaur or Ogloth (I don't actually know what that card looks like... I really should investigate)
Saying that blood frenzy sums up the first 200 cards is silly. It was the focal point for one or two versions only. We could say the same thing about mind control, or eternal renewal.

I'd considered Tidal Wave as well, for the same reason I listed Supernova: it's one of the few pictures that looks like it could actually be a background for a battle. The only reason I didn't mention Tidal Wave in my other post was because I worried that it might fall under the "busy tablecloth" category, but on second thought, I think it'd probably be okay.
So, yeah--Supernova and Tidal Wave. Those are my votes.
