Please Stop Abbreviations

Is ss snow sapphire or soul seeker? Its really annoying when people talk about ss being a problem against their deck, but don't specify which ss it is

It's both. If they mention the Hero, you can work it out, but otherwise you are kinda lost. I guess the context of it also helps - "SS does 8 damage per turn. Nerf!" obviously doesn't mean Snow Sapphire.

If I'm aware of two meanings, I won't use an abbreviation. But I will say BM, SK, DMT, JD, BS, BF, KP, DOU, MD if typing is restricted where I am - like on iPhone or something.

I look forward to Larken's guide, so I can use abbreviations more often and save time

How about someone just makes a guide to these abbreviations and stickies it? That was new players can be quick-linked to the thread and can easily pick up on the competitive players lingo. Heck, maybe even an in-game function can be added for all the widely used and popular ones!

Thats a GREAT idea, & to the player above, I play and only pe on an iPhone and there isn't a terribly big limit....

It's a valid point, but it's part of the joy of mastering the game. For reference ETC are currently drafting a glossary and welcome address for new players covering main abbreviations and LOL type forum chat... If ETC approve and Kyle likes the idea it could form the basis of a introductory welcome message which should help solve your frustration...

I reckon that the same "rules" for abbreviations counts for this forum as for any other; people who use them are twats but they have the right to be twats and it's way easier to guess what the fuck they're reffering to rather than try and "untwattyfy" them.
