I don't think there's a problem with DC. While I don't get my jollies off playing him, I understand that there ARE a lot of players who do. The argument of being "tired of playing against him all the time" because "he's boring" kind of shoots itself in the foot. If a lot of people are using him, they obviously find him enjoyable. Sure, I'd like to see DC be more dynamic in matches, but if it doesn't happen I'll still be ok with it. Everyone enjoys the game differently.

I think Kyle secretly loves ponies. He's just trying to convince himself he doesn't. This eliminating most ponies helps him stay away from them

Well, this goes the other way as well: if a lot of ppl are saying they auto-quit when facing DC, then a lot of ppl must find it boring to play him...

Wulven can't just get rid of an entire playstyle just to appease a small, yet vocal, percentage of players. With wildly differing opinions throughout SE's player base, if Wulven were to put that kind of thing into practice we would be left with a game just barely more exciting than watching paint dry.
