i hear you, but the consistency is attainable, it is simply a little bit more challenging to get the chemistry right. the new meta has made players lazy. playing priests in shadow era is no harder than playing most classes/factions in other card games, shadow era just has made some classes very easy to play, so priests stick out like a sore thumb. that is all.

Pete, he isn't saying that they're the best deck out there, because they aren't. They CAN however be quite effective. I liked Jericho in the past, but he just feels a bit too vulnerable vs mages in my book. He does fine vs Warriors though. Not insta win, and it needs skill, but it's doable.

the trick to beating mages is having enough health engines to last until you can get yourself established. this is around t5~t6. this should be doabl if your deck takes them into acct.

Good tips. Zhanna remains a fav of mine, though i struggle to compile a consistent deck. Still, lot of love for the priests.

Would you mind posting your deck Sooth? I've been going back and forth on a lot of choices for allies and equipment and it would help me a lot to check out the deck of someone with a lot more experience on the priest front. I recently reduced the number of KPs in my deck to 2 since I only really want them after about 7-8 turns ideally. Other times it can be on the 11th or 12th turn. So 4 seemed kind of overkill. I also dropped all of my Earthen Protectors ,siimply because the bug is holding them back so much. That and the fact that Armored Worm is badass right now. Also I really want to run Aeon but I cant find room for him :S. Errfff it's all so confusing .. .

Nothing makes me happier than my Aeon protecting my 1 Earthen Protector and Sandworm with a 2nd EP and a Ghost Maker in my hand.... 11/15 Aeons rock.

I often found Jericho handles warriors much better than Zhanna. But against warrs you need the 4 DA (weaps/armor) and 4 Retreat (put costly ally back into his hand or negate crippling blow). I also use 4 Birgitte against Logan/Boris since her protector also makes them have to use their ally destroy ability on her first. For a good 5 cc ally, I normally prefer Raven but Erika is also extremely effective bc of stealth. Jasmine,Marshland,Raven is a lethal board control combo esp with KP.

Thats why I normally go with Birgitte over Aeon bc I'm only interested in that protector. I also found having Smites in the deck useful as you can still use magic abilities over Moonstalker's ability.
