I've been playing with this deck a lot lately and it's pretty fun and effective.
Basically, you set up Bazaar and Curse asap.
Stall, if appropriate, with Holy Shield and try to lure out some big baddies.
Tidal Wave and send out your own baddies next turn.

Zhanna's natural resilience coupled with a slew of defensive cards and strong allies will allow her to reach a high resource count while still maintaining a good health. These battles will last a bit longer but the deck will start to shine once you get above 10 resources.
By then you can:
1. Holy Shield + Tidal Wave combo
2. Tidal Wave + ally
3. Two allies
4. King's Pride + ally

I started out wanting to create a new mill deck for myself after the fall of Elementalis. But I quickly realized that this Zhanna could both mill and play offensively.

4 King's Pride? Isn't it a bit overkill?

I find Wizent's useless since Bazaar and Bad Santa provide sufficient card draws.
Besides, the SE should be used to heal Zhanna.

King's Pride is a wonderful card for this deck. It's both defensive and offensive.

While other decks have come and gone this one is still standing in 1.28 and so far I've had nothing but success with it.
The worst case scenario for this deck is not drawing Bad Santa or Bazaar for a very long time. Especially if you're up against a hero with a one sided card draw engine. That has led to a few downfalls in my past.

Cool deck -- my onlythoughts/questions:

1. I'd try to find a way to get 4 Retreats in there -- defensive early, offensive later. it should fit your strategy perfectly.

2. Do you really need 4 KP? heck, do you really need any?? You've already got the fattest guys possible in there and 2 resurrections, KP seems like expensive overkill. I'd probably swap them out for 4 Retreats and see what happens.

I think this is good direction for Priest viability in 1.28, and except for a few card choice differences looks a lot like my planned Zhanna. The main ones being Kris, Jas/Aldon, Retreat, Inner Strength, Ice Storm and Good Ascendant (for anti EA,) with less Curse, KP, and no Holy Shield, plus just Sandworms at 5cc and 2 Aeon. Selfishness, while not going to be super prevalent, can really put Aeon out of sorts, though he is still a great fatty, and I like Worms more and more in Priest 'survival/fatty' decks.

Great deck. Priest will suffer lots of damage early so curse (t3) and holy shield (t4) make sens.

Holy shield is one of the most underated priest card inho.

I have yet to see holy shield being a feasible card, especially since protector no longer defends the hero.
