Problem with Serena's Ability [duplicate]

I just read this thread and I was curious.

Since the text on Night Prowler

and on Serena

's ability are both worded the same way doesn't that mean that her ability should work with ability cards like Mugged

and Special delivery too? At the moment both these abilities only work with weapon damage.

With the way that Serena

is currently worded, yes. However, I believe that the intent was only with weapon damage would the effect take place. This was more of an issue back in pre-hero change (and reported then) when Serena

had a passive ability.

That would be a shame. a lot of good combos would never happen.

Good suggestion to buff her though. Allows you to deal +2 attack to an enemy ally or gives you the chance to discard 2 cards (or more) from an opponent. This thread should be moved to the suggestions section.

Ya but I just want to see what the Devo team says about the ability first. Theres no need to suggest something that's already going to happen. Most things in the suggestion section get ignored anyway. What I would like to see is another card just like Sorcerous Poison

(maybe Sorcerous Flame?) and a fix on the ability like I mentioned above. Then Serena

could make use of a lot of cards that were deemed useless before like Lay Low

and Mugged

. Here's hoping
