No doubt everyone has been waiting to hear what you get for winning the Grand Finals! Well wait no longer, I’m going to be announcing the prizes in this very thread. But first, let’s recap who is currently qualified for the event and how many spots are still up for grabs:

Now - The Prizes
The prize structure for the world championships 2013 will be the following:
• All 16 invitees get an Digital Sleeve exclusive to the World Championships Grand Finalists and 10,000 Shadow Crystals
• Four random participants get a physical playmat (we will give out one of each playmat)
• Day 1- 16-man double elimination event, with deck-lock, no sideboards, best-of-three, with a best-of-five final. Top 4 get digital foils. Top 2 win $100 store credit. Winner makes it to the epic bo7 face-off!
• Day 2 – 16-man double elimination event, with deck-lock, a 10 card sideboard, best-of-three, with a best-of-five final. Top 4 get digital foils. Top 2 win $100 store credit. Winner makes it to the epic bo7 face-off!
• Both players in the epic bo7 face-off will get $100 store credit and the winner will get an iPad Air!
So as you can see, we have guaranteed participation prizes, doorprizes, and even an iPad Air for winning the whole thing! The prizes are set up in this way so that everyone has multiple avenues to win something. It also makes both events on the weekend important because you can win better prizes by performing well on both days instead of just winning one event and skipping the other. For example, if you place in the top 2 on Saturday and then place in the top 4 on Sunday, you will win $100 of store credit for your top 2 finish, you will get some digital foils for both your Saturday and Sunday finishes, you will get exclusive digital sleeves and 10k shadow crystals just for taking part, and have a shot at winning 1 of 4 physical playmats!
Those are some pretty epic prizes if you ask me
