That's what I play as well when I rank higher lol. The oggies are better at dealing with lower ranked decks in QM :D

HBM just combo's so well with Shriek. I often use it at 5 or even 6 resources (with another 2/3cc drop) to help prevent an Aeon drop if I was able to shriek their draw engine(s). It really helps...

Other 2cc allies are just too vulnerable (especially to Mage) and take up needed deck slots, even Brutalis is better suited to Zaladar's ability doing 3 damage instead of 2. This strategy doesn't...

You can still sit on 3/4/5 resources piling on allies waiting for the next one, or deploying another kept in hand straight away. HBM helps while sitting on your resources too.

Too many cards. It works well enough on it's own.

It's not so much a matter of needed more options, but specifically when playing second a T3 HBM with Banebow's ability can destroy an opponent who was trying to rush as player 1. With so few allies...

Can't drop her on T3 when going second for one.
