I was able to play through that mission fine. Could you post a screenshot if it happens again? Maybe the AI is having a problem with a particular card or combo...

I see an attachment on an ally there, which counts as an ability. On the card it is shown as "Ability - Attachment" which means they have type of Ability and subtype of Attachment.

Night Prowler has low durability, so you want to attack into it so that it gets destroyed quickly. Have some low cost allies ready to rush.
