lolwut? Also, never had to kill Aeon to target main with anything other than allies before.
Correct.
It's a world of difference with the new protector mechanic.
Easy to make sure there are no allies on the board when Aeon joins. Not so easy once he's already out. Fireballing allies always makes me cringe.
I used to just use Web/Freeze (Web keeps the ally out of play the same amount of turns as resummoning would) since you can do damage to them and potentially send them to the graveyard instead of the...
The problem is Aeon with 9 health, and the rest with 5-7. In this particular game, I was not fortunate enough to have both Supernova in my hand and my ability ready for use. I *may* try adding some...
I had been playing with Shadow for a while just because of Shriek, but I decided to go back to my Nishaven roots for this update. And of course now I'm suffering without Shriek.
There were no...
*facepalm* You're right, I was confusing two different games. The Warrior had a Berserker's Edge with a few hits on it - not Portal.
Supernova is nice. Nishaven is nice. And those used to be my bread-and-butter for clearing the board. But those only get you so far now (particularly against Warriors) because even if you have the...
Yup. I've come across a few Warriors with Aeon and that +attack and +health armor. That's it, I'm done.
I never gave a hoot about him before because I don't play allies. Now however...yuck.
Correct. I HAVE to completely kill Aeon before I can even target anyone else. This gets very nasty very quickly, especially with combinations of Aeon, Aldon, Portal, etc.
Most of the threads here are complaining about USING Aeon, not fighting against him.
I play Mages (mostly ally-less), and I *hate* the new Aeon. It's absurd that I have to do 8 points of damage...
Same here - framerate is slow as heck and looks like crap.
Agreed. I've recently been testing a Majiya deck, and wow, I miss my Nishaven's ability. Lots of big creatures very, very easily overwhelm her while they don't last very long at all with Nishaven.
You can report it in http://www.shadowera.com/showthread.php?3847-Name-them-all...-quot-Defeat-Bug-Cheaters-quot if you suspect it was cheating.
Relevant.
I own my own forums and I can tell you that saying you "own" something on forums to give cred to your post is irrelevant.
This is how I play my Nishaven deck - all direct damage with few allies. Hunters/warriors with weapons usually kick my butt.
I'd LOVE to have this feature - it's present in many other card games, and for good reason.
IMHO this is the way it SHOULD work - Aeon is entering play under your control, and thus he should get frozen again.
It's only fair considering how many bugs there are with Mind Control =P When the...
Irrelevant.
Elementalis is my favorite opponent as Nishaven - they're the only games I look forward to. Why? Because I play an ally-less deck and I know how Elementalis decks expect to win - I don't make many...
huh, surprising results. I play Nishaven, and I rarely lose to Maj. I nearly always lose to Gwen however - I expected her to be the majority of wins.
