Awesome! Eladwen is so bad in this game that other heroes excel in her own element.
That's just bad taste. Lost Lands has been in development for 5 years now, showing off a flawed card design process and how limited the core game of Shadow Era actually is along the way, a campaign...
Having loosely counted the cards, here is a rough list of the number of cards with on-summon effects:
Crystals: 13
Prophecies: 19
Fates: 23
Lands: 43
That's 25% of Lands cards.
Nathan is in many ways a symptom of the game's limitations currently. A lot of cards seem to have or need some kind of on-summon or enter-play effect to actually be played. Seductress has essentially...
At this point with Eladwen, that is the best we can hope for. I hate Kion with every fiber of my being and would never play it against a human opponent, so in my variant, he is exiled from my deck...
There are a lot of cards in their current state that does not get played that deserves buffs way more than Soul Reaper does. Soul Reaper is a card that rewards you for losing and punishes your...
No Nishaven decks, two Aramias that's pretty much the same deck and two Eladwen decks, only one of them uses any cards from Lost Lands and that is Poison Well. Human mages are dead.
Why should information be hidden for new players? There are outright bad cards, period. And bad business? That shouldn't be a problem if a product is worth paying for. More info even safeguards new...
Black Market's stupidity is clearly shown when the opponents are mages: Mage class draws are almost entirely centered around items. A rogue deck usually runs cards that enable them to destroy those...
I have tweaked it a little bit! New-ish list:
Hero: Majiya (40 cards)
Ally (18):
4x Cinderborn Fatebreaker
4x Grimghast
4x Phoenix Urigon
3x Flameborn Defiler
3x Infernus, Tyrant of the...
I'm still of the opinion that Plunderer should be limited to opponent's graveyard. Warriors already has a way of getting back their own weapons with Reserve Weapon.
Weaponsmith's main 'issue' is...
Into the Forest - Maybe make it dependent on equipment on the hero. With armor it gives stealth (camouflage) and with a weapon it gives defender (if you follow, you are in their natural environment)....
Issue:
In the current design phase, seek is a dominant key word. Tribal decks can seek Homunculi and Twilight allies with ally, Aldmor can seek both allies and artifacts, Priests and Wulven can seek...
Not a nerf to the card itself, a nerf to non-warriors and non-elemental heroes. Javelin has only gotten buffed in the time it has been out.
What nerf?
I hope that the design team eventually decides to go back and re-evaluate some of the old cards instead. With the new keywords from the new expansions, it could less used cards into play and make...
The top grade game design where the entire class metas should be based around 1-3 cards.
Lots of decks can't possibly beat the combo. But if you think it is good design to have two(2!) cards to define a meta and the answer is "just play the counter deck", then more power to you.
Maybe Actualizer's ability should only activate, if the top card is an elemental ally. It is still rushy, but it doesn't unconditionally boost Descender. And it seems to make more sense that a sliver...
Why not just make priest cards, that actually improve the overall priest card pool, instead of making a very small handful of cards that's only there to make priests actually competitive? We all...
Thank god they bothered to ban old cards where you ended up being a bystander in your own games!
Fire Majiya is by far my favorite deck currently. It is something that's rarely seen in Shadow Era: a non-gimmicky theme that actually works!
My deck completely ignores Furrion Terror. Never...
The current game is hardly any less mindless as right now you are basically building engine decks so you can auto-pilot to victory.
It's a new format, but it's not a difficult format to design.
Wow, just...wow. Meltdown is hardly competitive at the moment due to the gold-stealing aspect, the random aspect and the low...
