Yeah. Any ally or armor ability is ignored. But cards like Reinforced armor are not part of the target, just an attachment, so it will still reduce the damage. Wording could be a bit different to...

Iirc, I believe it's supposed to operate like that. It only ignores ally armor, not ability damage reduction.

In my imagination, I get a foil Speedstrike. But, it's called Kyle. And is instawin when played. :D
