Yeah I've experienced this too against Jericho. I haven't seen it in other weapon heroes yet

Afaik elementals are not focused on weapons so it's hard to find buff for it. Helm of Saymet could be the closest to what you want

I recommend you to focus more on your hero ability and build your deck around it. You should see javelin as a complement and less as a main card
