Probably because Eladwen is a fine all rounder deck except for Portal card and has Aeon which shadow side doesnt such rare cards. yeah, im sure the next patch will be the turn of tides for shadow...

i did emphasis on "Best" kind of hand when opponent is unable to defend, anyway snakes/ Brutalis works the same way too.

The main point is to minimise opponent creature in play to 0 and finish...

yea because of Eladwen's low cost ability, low cost allies except Aeon, low cost fireball, its rather hard to stand against. i always had the upper hand until the Portal pops out into play,...

i played 20 matches and 17 matches are against Eladwen deck.
Only won 3 out of 18 against Eladwen decks.
